GMP Recruitment are proud to be in partnership with a well-known local company who are specialists in ventilation located in the Herefordshire area. We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Field Service Technician to join their team on a full time, permanent, basis. This position is working Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week and is offering a starting salary up to £36K, which is dependent on experience.
As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for being a site lead in the installation of our clients products both in Agricultural and Industrial sector. Projects undertaken can range in complexity dependent on what and where the products are being installed.
Installation Technician main duties:- Oversee the installation of our client’s products on agricultural and industrial sites, ensuring all work is completed correctly, safely, and to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Provide supervision and leadership to other members of the installation team or the customer’s on-site labour.
- Offer support and training to our client’s network of dealers and distributors.
- Assist with research and development projects as needed, including product testing and providing practical feedback on new developments.
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean, organized, and roadworthy condition.
- Complete all job-related documentation, including timesheets, site diaries, reports, and completion certificates, in accordance with company procedures.
- Adhere to and enforce both company and customer health and safety procedures throughout the installation process.
- Some basic Electrical/Electronic knowledge is essential.
- Strong Mechanical background would be required for this role.
- Must be comfortable to work at height using Powered access equipment and static towers.
- The possession of up-to-date IPAF, PASMA & CSCS cards would be an advantage, but courses will be provided when required.
- Travelling throughout the UK, Ireland, Europe and the rest of the world is a prerequisite.
- Long periods away from home may be required.
- A full UK Driving License is essential.
- Valid Passport for worldwide travel.
