GMP Recruitment are proud to be in partnership with a Worcestershire based manufacturing company who are known internationally for their product. We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a motivated Supply Chain Analyst to join their experienced Purchasing Department. This position is office based, located on the outskirts of Pershore, working Monday – Friday. This position can offer a salary up to £35,000 per annum based on relevant experience.
We are looking for candidates who are analytically minded and solution-focused. The Supply Chain Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the efficient procurement of parts sourced from East Asia. The successful candidate will analyse sales trends, forecast requirements, place purchase orders, and actively monitor the supply chain to support the sales team with stock management, reporting, and performance analysis. Previous experience in a supply chain role is essential to be considered.
Main duties:
- Create and issue purchase orders for product lines
- Maintain accurate purchasing records within ERP or other procurement systems.
- Oversee the full order process, from placement to delivery.
- Handle supplier communications professionally via phone and email.
- Respond promptly to supplier queries and provide accurate information.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order progress, shipping, and documentation.
- Monitor stock levels to reduce the risk of shortages while avoiding overstock.
