We are supporting their recruitment for an experienced Employment Solicitor (5-6 years PQE) to join our growing and highly regarded Employment team in Shirley, advising a diverse client base of businesses and individuals across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The successful candidate will advise on a broad mix of employment law matters, working on high-quality, varied employment projects in a supportive, high-performing team.
Main duties:
- Advising employers on disciplinary and grievance matters, restructures, redundancies, performance management and TUPE matters
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to resolution
- Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, settlement agreements and wider employment documentation
- Supporting corporate transactions with employment law advice and due diligence
- Delivering commercially focused, strategic legal advice
- Supporting business development activity including networking, seminars and client training initiatives
Required skills and experience:
- 5-6 years PQE in Employment Law within a UK law firm
- Strong technical experience across contentious and non-contentious matters
