We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Property Litigator to join a growing Dispute Resolution team. Candidates with approximately 2–5 years' post-qualification experience are encouraged to apply; however, this is intended as a guideline only. Applications from individuals with a different level of PQE will also be welcomed where they can demonstrate the relevant expertise, technical ability and commitment to the role.
This is a full-time position based at their Birmingham office, with hybrid and flexible working arrangements available for the right candidate.
The Role:
- The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of property litigation matters, including:
- Residential and commercial landlord and tenant disputes, acting for both landlords and tenants.
- Boundary and neighbour disputes.
- A broad range of property-related contentious matters.
- TOLATA claims.
- Professional negligence claims arising from property transactions and advice.
- Supporting the wider Commercial Litigation team on general dispute resolution matters where required.
Skills and Experience
- Strong technical knowledge across property litigation matters.
- Experience using case management systems and standard office software, including Word, Excel and PDF-based applications.
- Advocacy experience and confidence representing clients where appropriate.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional client service and managing client expectations professionally.
- An interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of the firm's litigation practice.
- The ability to build upon the team's established reputation and maintain high standards of service delivery.
