We are a growing and dynamic company based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, seeking a creative and detail‐oriented Web Designer to design, develop, and maintain visually engaging and user‐friendly websites. You will work closely with developers, marketers, and content teams to deliver high‐quality digital experiences that align with our brand identity and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design responsive, visually appealing websites and landing pages

Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes based on project requirements

Apply strong UX/UI principles to ensure intuitive and engaging user experiences

Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of designs

Optimise websites for performance, accessibility, and usability

Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms

Update, manage, and improve existing websites and digital assets

Stay up to date with the latest web design trends, tools, and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Web Designer or in a similar role

Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS, with basic JavaScript understanding

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator

Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles

Experience with responsive and mobile‐first design approaches

Basic knowledge of SEO principles and web accessibility standards

Desirable Skills

Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms

Knowledge of animation or motion design

Basic understanding of web performance optimisation techniques

Experience working with marketing or e‐commerce teams
