Full Job Description: Immediate starts, unqualified full-time and qualified part-time positions. The roles require experienced nursery practitioners, ideally with early years qualifications, to join the team in a nursery with a strong ethos and community focus.

Responsibilities

• Work across key rooms based on the ages of the children, with the nursery happy to accommodate individual preferences and experience.
• Plan days with a mix of free play and focused activities for children.
• Participate in activities such as making wooden toys and props, cooking in the home corner, conducting science experiments, climbing trees, growing fruit and vegetables, and spotting insects in the environment.
• Be energetic, skilled, and dedicated to nurturing the best outcomes for children.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, varied day with opportunities for professional development and potential permanent roles.
• Hours and shifts may vary; the nursery offers on-site support, including an on-site chef.

Qualifications

• Experience working with or supporting nursery age children (0-5).
• Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• A relevant early years qualification; level 3 staff can achieve maximum rates and will be considered for part-time positions.
• Flexible, proactive, and patient approach.
• Nurturing and caring demeanor with effective teamwork and communication.

Hours, Pay and Benefits

• Nursery hours include options such as 08:00 – 17:00, 08:30 – 17:30, and 09:00 – 18:00.
• Pay can be up to £130 a day for early years qualified staff; minimum rates of over £100 a day for unqualified staff.
• Job types: Full-time, Part-time. Work location: In person.
