We're looking for an experienced Transport Manager with a valid CPC to join our busy logistics team in Manchester.
Salary: £40,000 | Mon-Fri | 07:00-17:00 | Permanent
Key Responsibilities- Lead transport audits and maintain company CPC accreditation
- Support day-to-day operations and oversee a fleet of 20+ vehicles
- Manage drivers: compliance, recruitment, training, and performance
- Ensure all vehicle checks, servicing, and maintenance are up to standard
- Improve transport processes and ensure full compliance with company policies
- Work closely with Operations and Customer Service to maintain high service levels
- Proven experience as a CPC-qualified Transport Manager
- Background in Airfreight/Logistics (preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Knowledge of fleet systems and compliance standards
- Hands-on attitude with ability to carry out minor vehicle fixes
