Odin Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Systems Service Engineer (Security & Network) on behalf of our client. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing team delivering high-quality installation, service, and maintenance across a range of security and network infrastructure systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and maintaining integrated systems across retail, commercial, and public sector environments, ensuring systems operate reliably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and installation of security and network systems
- Installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, and Fibre)
- Servicing and supporting IP CCTV systems
- Installation and maintenance of Access Control and Door Entry systems
- Commissioning and configuration of networked security systems
- Diagnosing and resolving faults across integrated IP-based environments
- Working on client sites across retail, commercial, and public sector sectors
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar security systems or network engineering role
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Fibre)
- Experience with IP CCTV, access control, and door entry systems
- Ability to diagnose faults across networked/IP security systems
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
