GMB National Office has a vacancy for a Support Worker based at National Office in Euston, London (alternative office location will be considered). GMB is one of the UK and Ireland’s largest trade unions; we’re proud to represent over half a million people across the professional spectrum and all walks of life.
The team member will work with the National Women’s Campaign Unit primarily on tasks relating to the management of equal pay claims via Airtable, and equal pay claim settlement negotiations. The team member will also work with our National Organising Team. This is a role that will be an important part of a small but very busy team! The work will be detail-oriented, demanding and dynamic, with opportunities to work towards paralegal qualifications if desirable.
The successful candidate will:
- Possess a flexible attitude and a full range of administrative and secretarial skills as outlined in the job description
- Be able to work on their own initiative to undertake duties in a professional and efficient manner
- Be able to manage and meet tight deadlines
