GMB Wales & South West Region has a vacancy for a cleaner based in our Cardiff office [Garley House, 17 Newport Road, Cardiff, CF24 0TB].
The hours of work will be 10 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 4.00pm to 6.00pm.
The main purpose of this job will be to ensure that the office, toilets and kitchens are kept clean and stocked at all times. You will be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels. You will need to be punctual and efficient and ensure all tasks are completed within the set hours, to a high standard.
You will have experience of all tasks involved in cleaning an office building to a very high standard including cleaning toilets, mopping floors, wiping surfaces, using electric cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, using appropriate cleaning products and cloths.
You will have good understanding and experience of health and safety within a cleaning environment and understand how to carry out equipment checks and be able to carry out a stock check.
