Overview
Are you an experienced driver seeking a fulfilling career as a mini bus driver? Are you passionate about assisting people with mobility impairments and those with learning and behavioural difficulties to travel within Manchester, based at our Hollinwood Depot, Oldham. You will drive passenger-carrying minibuses providing a door to door service for people in Manchester who have difficulty in using ordinary public transport. You will be required to have knowledge of the area you will be driving in and an understanding of the requirements of the passengers who use the service.
Requirements
- You will be aged over 21 and have a full current driving licence including category D1 (maximum of 3 penalty points).
Contract and Hours
- This post is a job share and you will be working 2 days (15hrs) in week one, 3 days (22.5hrs) in week two, on a rotating basis.
- You will be required to work shifts 37.5 hours per week (early shifts 07.30hrs to 15.30hrs, late shifts 15.15hrs to 23.15hrs and middle shifts 08.00/09.00hrs to 16.00hrs/17.00hrs).
