A world-renowned, privately owned British manufacturer of engineered products and aftermarket solutions is seeking an ambitious Sales Engineer to develop and grow its presence across Yorkshire and the Northeast.

The Role
As Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across a diverse industrial landscape including oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, and general industrial end users. You will inherit a well-established customer base while being given significant scope to develop new business opportunities with both existing and new clients. This is a solution-led, technical sales role where you will work closely with customers to understand their rotating plant challenges and deliver engineered solutions that maximise reliability, efficiency, and performance. You will act as a trusted technical partner, influencing specifications, supporting critical applications, and adding real value throughout the lifecycle of customers’ equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of strategic industrial accounts
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the region
- Provide technical and commercial support for rotating equipment and aftermarket solutions
- Build strong, long-term relationships with engineers, maintenance teams, and decision-makers
- Collaborate with internal engineering, service, and manufacturing teams to deliver best-in-class solutions
