IT Team Leader - City based company

City based IT Operations Manager

Hybrid role: 2 days WFH, 3 days in the office. Excellent role for someone wishing to build on existing skillset and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain IT infrastructure and ensure all systems and technologies remain up to date.
• Ensure cyber security protocols remain best of breed.
• Provide all levels of technical support for local and remote users.
• Install new systems, hardware, software, etc.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software faults.
• Manage a small team of IT professionals.
• Provide IT and cyber training courses.
• Manage an Apple estate.
• Develop and present full IT strategy to the Board level.
• Assess new systems, hardware, and software.
• Recommend upgrades before implementation.
• Maintain full budgetary control of all IT areas.
• Maintain hardware/software inventories.
• Conduct project‑based work when and where required.

Required Qualifications

• Very strong MS 365 experience.
• Ability to liaise with all levels of staff, up to Director level.
• Very strong ISO27001 experience; must have completed ISO audits previously.
• Preference for candidates with MS accreditations.
• Ideal background in finance, insurance, or investment.
• Excellent cyber security awareness.
• Experience working with third‑party vendors.
• Strong contractual awareness and ability to negotiate with suppliers.
• Very strong overall Microsoft background.
• Willingness to commute to St. Paul’s area of London at least three days a week.
