Managed Service Provider in the Glasgow area Hybrid role My client is seeking an accomplished Technical IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex technology and business transformation initiatives across the organisation's infrastructure. The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects from initiation through to successful implementation, ensuring delivery in accordance with agreed scope, budget, timescales and business outcomes. The role will include collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams and external suppliers to promote delivery excellence while upholding robust governance and risk-management standards. There will be a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement with the proven ability to operate effectively within complex technical and organisational environments. Responsibilities will include managing technology projects aligned with the organisation's business and strategic objectives. Key responsibilities will include: Managing projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle Discovery and business-case development to implementation, operational transition and benefits realisation. Project planning, delivery schedules, budgets, resource plans and governance documentation. Overseeing cross-functional project teams comprising business stakeholders, technical specialists and third-party suppliers. Project-governance, steering groups, project boards and formal status reporting. Managing and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle. Establishing relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels ensuring clear, timely and effective communication throughout delivery. Supplier and delivery-partner performance to ensure fulfilment of contractual obligations and agreed delivery commitments. Driving delivery against agreed outcomes Continuous improvement of project delivery practices, governance standards Ensuring solutions are delivered in alignment with enterprise architecture, security, service management, and operational support requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate: A proven track record of successfully delivering technology-focused projects, with experience managing medium- to large-scale technical initiatives across infrastructure, cloud, applications, data, and digital transformation. Skilled in working with third-party partners and managing supplier relationships, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage diverse stakeholders. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including presenting to senior leadership and steering committees. Expertise in managing project budgets and financial reporting. Hands-on experience with hybrid delivery methods, and well-versed in risk, issue, dependency, and change management.
