Working from home with occasional required site visits to West Wales and Surrey – please bear this in mind when applying. My client needs to recruit a very experienced SAP ERP Solution Designer to join their dynamic team and drive the migration from SAGE and MS Dynamics Great Plains (GP) to SAP S/4HANA. The role will be working from home but the requirement to regularly visit sites in both Wales and Surrey means only candidates who are car owners/drivers will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Leading workshops with stakeholders and end users to define current processes and business requirements.
- Providing document insights, identifying gaps, and developing a detailed SAP Blueprint for accurate project estimation.
- Designing and integrating SAP solutions with existing systems and relevant modules (FI, CO, SD).
- Overseeing SAP activities from design through post-go-live support, managing risks and ensuring all milestones are met.
- Overseeing SAP customisations and development to address unique business needs.
- Being the primary technical authority, translating complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of SAP implementation experience.
- Relevant professional SAP certifications.
- Proven ability to lead SAP teams through the full project lifecycle.
- Skilled at gathering requirements from cross‑functional teams.
- Expert knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (especially FI/CO) and integration with MM and SD.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, including executive‑level reporting.
- Strong leadership and collaboration, with a record of successful SAP project delivery.
- Competence in technical risk assessment and management.
