GM Services Cornwall is a well-established Electrical and Mechanical contracting company based in Cornwall. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Plumbing & Heating Project Manager / Estimator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong plumbing and heating knowledge, project management experience, and estimating skills to manage a variety of mechanical projects across Cornwall and Devon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver a range of plumbing and heating projects across Cornwall and Devon.
  • Plan and oversee projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery.
  • Lead, develop, and support team members to achieve high performance.
  • Survey, estimate, and quote for small works and maintenance projects.
  • Produce method statements and risk assessments.
  • Attend multiple project sites as required while being primarily office-based.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and heating installations.
  • Experience working as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer and within a managerial role.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively with others.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Logical approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Gas industry experience.
  • OFTEC experience.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Renewable energy experience.
