We are currently looking for an experienced Steel Erector to join our team on a residential project. This is a hands-on role working with two sets of structural steel and requires someone reliable, hardworking and confident working independently on site.

Duties will include:

  • Erecting structural steel on a residential site
  • Heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Bolting steelwork together accurately and safely
  • Cutting and grinding steel where required
  • Reading and working from drawings/site instructions
  • Maintaining high health & safety standards on site

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' steel erecting experience
  • Previous residential site experience preferred
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently
  • Own tools/PPE preferred
  • CSCS card required (if applicable)
  • IPAF/Slinger ticket advantageous but not essential
