We are currently looking for an experienced Steel Erector to join our team on a residential project. This is a hands-on role working with two sets of structural steel and requires someone reliable, hardworking and confident working independently on site.
Duties will include:
- Erecting structural steel on a residential site
- Heavy lifting and manual handling
- Bolting steelwork together accurately and safely
- Cutting and grinding steel where required
- Reading and working from drawings/site instructions
- Maintaining high health & safety standards on site
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' steel erecting experience
- Previous residential site experience preferred
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
- Own tools/PPE preferred
- CSCS card required (if applicable)
- IPAF/Slinger ticket advantageous but not essential
