Site Manager in Haverhill

Job Title: Site Manager Steel Frame & Cladding
Location: Haverhill
Rate: £280 Daily
Start Date: 26th January 2026

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in steel frame construction and cladding packages to oversee the successful delivery of commercial and industrial projects. You will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. Initially based on-site in Haverhill, ongoing work will be across the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all on-site activities from start to completion;
• Oversee steel frame erection & fabrication and cladding installation works;
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour;
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, RAMS, and site regulations;
• Monitor programme, quality, and productivity on site;
• Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks, and progress reporting;
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management;
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on steel frame and cladding projects;
• Strong understanding of industrial / commercial build processes;
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications;
• Excellent leadership and communication skills;
• Ability to manage multiple trades and tight programmes;
• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and site compliance.

• Experience with envelope packages (cladding, roofing, façades);
• Temporary works awareness;
• Background in industrial or logistics developments;
