We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Supervisor / NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor. This is a key role overseeing electrical compliance, inspection & testing, certification and quality across predominantly commercial, industrial and three-phase projects.
The Role
- Act as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor
- Supervise and support electricians and subcontractors
- Carry out site audits, inspections and EICRs
- Oversee inspection, testing, safe isolation and certification
- Review and sign off electrical documentation
- Provide technical guidance and CPD to operatives
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance
- Support emergency lighting projects and BS 5266 requirements
- Liaise professionally with clients, management and NICEIC representatives
Essential Requirements
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship
- ECS Gold Approved Electrician Card
- Meets NICEIC QS qualification requirements
- Strong knowledge of BS7671, Guidance Note 3 and the On-Site Guide
- Proven experience with commercial, industrial and three-phase installations
- Strong inspection & testing experience
- 2+ years' recent EICR experience, including coding non-compliances
- Experience supervising multiple operatives/subcontractors
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Good IT skills, including Word, Excel and digital certification systems
- Good spoken and written English
- 18th Edition and C&G 2391-52 Inspection & Testing highly desirable.
