The predicted salary is between 15.3 - 18.7 £ per hour.
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to work across a portfolio of sites in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned, reactive and minor works, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service. NICEIC Test & Inspection qualification is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
- Complete accurate Site Visit Reports (SVRs) and daily job feedback.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and ensure excellent customer service.
- Work closely with scheduling teams to deliver PPM and reactive works within agreed KPIs and SLAs.
- Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety requirements, company policies and Safe Systems of Work, including PTW and RAMS.
- Identify and manage minor works and additional work opportunities.
- Liaise with subcontractors and specialist contractors when required.
- Assist with overseeing visiting specialist teams.
- Monitor costs and ensure works are delivered efficiently.
- Provide cover for the Supervisor when required.
- Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota.
Essential Requirements
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification - City & Guilds or equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Testing & Inspection or equivalent.
- NICEIC Test & Inspection qualification - essential.
- Experience of general and minor building maintenance.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance legislation.
- Experience working with RAMS, PTW and Safe Systems of Work.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage costs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- L8 / Legionella training.
- Plumbing and hot water systems experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Experience within a commercial or facilities maintenance environment.
