We currently have an opening for a Reliability Engineer, responsible for Power Unit Failure Analysis. This will include failure investigation and identifying root causes. You will work across departments to contain the problem and implement resolutions. You must be adept at highly detailed data analysis for assessment of failures and identifying potential problems. You will assist in the maintenance, control, evaluation and resolution of faults as well as the building of damage accumulation models.
Key Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be a mechanical engineer with 10+ years of automotive experience.
- Extensive experience in failure mode mechanisms.
- Thorough understanding of root cause analysis for both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Trained in the latest technology and engineering practices of failure analysis and resolution.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in automotive, motorsport, or high-performance powertrain engineering environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience with failure mode mechanisms, including fatigue, wear, thermal damage, electrical faults, and material degradation.
- Thorough understanding of root cause analysis techniques applied to both mechanical and electrical systems.
