GM Performance Power Units is seeking an experienced IFS ERP Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and optimizing our IFS ERP system, ensuring it aligns with our business processes and supports our global operations. The IFS ERP Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the strategic design, configuration, administration, and optimization of the IFS Cloud ERP environment. This role ensures that business requirements are translated into scalable, secure, and high-performing ERP solutions, while also managing day-to-day system operations, upgrades, integrations, and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Architecture
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design robust IFS ERP solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end solution design across IFS modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Engineering/PDM, Manufacturing, and Warehousing.
  • Define system architecture, data flows, and integration strategies with other enterprise applications.
  • Evaluate and recommend IFS capabilities, features, and enhancements to support business growth and process improvements.
  • Develop proof-of-concept configurations and oversee functional testing.
  • Ensure system design adheres to best practices, scalability principles, and security compliance standards.
  • System Administration
    • Manage day-to-day operations of the IFS Cloud environment, including user account management, permissions, and security roles.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance optimizations.
    • Oversee and coordinate IFS patches, service updates, and version upgrades.
    • Maintain data integrity through governance policies, backups, and recovery plans.
    • Manage IFS integrations with third-party applications (API, Middleware, EDI).
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, workflows, and data mappings.
  • Support & Continuous Improvement
    • Provide Level 2/3 support for IFS-related issues and coordinate with IFS support teams as needed.
    • Train and mentor business users, key stakeholders, and internal IT staff.
    • Continuously identify opportunities for process automation, reporting improvements, and data analytics.
    • Participate in change management planning and end-user adoption strategies.

    Qualifications

    • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS, Business Computer Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or International Business; MBA is a plus.
    • 5+ years of experience working with IFS Applications (preferably IFS Cloud / latest versions).
    • Proven experience in both solution architecture and system administration roles for ERP platforms.
    • Strong background in ERP integration, business process mapping, and system customization.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Deep knowledge of IFS modules: Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory Management/Warehousing, Engineering/PLM.
    • Proficiency in IFS Lobby, Aurena, and related configuration tools.
    • Experience with SQL, APIs, and data migration tools.
    • Familiarity with Azure hosting environments and IFS Cloud infrastructure.
    • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and role-based access controls.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
    • Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
