Our client is a forward-thinking, modern law firm that has experienced significant success and business growth through the use of technology, employing the right people, and building a great team. Due to ongoing growth management, they require a number of temporary legal cashiers to support the existing team. Given the growth of the business, there is a possibility that more permanent work could follow, but this is not guaranteed.
It's a great opportunity for someone with strong legal cashiering experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, away from the traditional law firm setup, supporting a firm that truly understands the value and importance of its operations staff, with a well-run team, great systems in place, and a positive working culture.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for the accurate and compliant handling of client and office accounts, ensuring all transactions are processed in accordance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
- Working as part of a busy accounts team, you will help support the smooth financial operation of the firm while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and organisation.
- The main area of focus is ensuring the smooth running of conveyancing completions related work.
The position is fully remote and would suit a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is at ease with paperless/digital systems, and is used to dealing with volume work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing client and office account transactions
- Handling conveyancing completions and related financial transactions
- Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)
- Managing bank reconciliations and financial records
- Assisting with day-to-day accounts administration
- Supporting fee earners and consultants with financial queries
About You:
- Previous Legal Cashier experience within a law firm is essential
- Strong knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
- Confident working both independently and as part of a team
