An established Hampshire practice is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant for their Wills, Probate & Estate Planning Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal assistant who has a strong background in Private Client work and is looking to take on a senior-level support role within a busy and well-established team.

The Role

  • Working closely with experienced lawyers, providing high-quality administrative and legal support across a broad range of Private Client matters.
  • Providing senior-level support to solicitors and other legal professionals.
  • Preparing legal documentation, including Wills, Probate, LPAs and Trust paperwork.
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within strict court and internal deadlines.
  • Managing diaries, appointments and meetings.
  • Liaising directly with clients and providing a professional, client-focused service.
  • Assisting with billing and financial administration.
  • Managing file opening, compliance and case progression.
  • Audio typing and general administrative support.
  • Assisting with estate administration and wider Private Client matters.

About You

  • An experienced legal assistant with a strong background in Wills, Probate and Estate Planning.
  • Excellent experience working within a Private Client legal environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Administration.
  • Excellent typing and document preparation skills.
  • A highly organised approach with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage deadlines and prioritise a varied workload.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional, approachable and client-focused manner.
