We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team and help us manage our financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports and statements, and providing administrative support to the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Quickbooks and/or Xero would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Assist with preparation and submission of financial reports to management
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns, both corporate and personal
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
