We seek to appoint a Lecturer in Cyber and Computing who will contribute significantly to the development and delivery of our academic programmes, while cultivating robust partnerships with industry stakeholders. The department offers a range of programmes and learning opportunities, and we particularly welcome applications from candidates specialising in Cyber Security.
You will demonstrate a passion for teaching and play a vital role in the planning, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of our courses. Collaborating effectively with students, departmental colleagues, and staff across the University is essential to ensuring a positive student experience. You will also support student recruitment and retention, alongside engagement with all University quality assurance processes. Prior experience of teaching within the Higher Education sector is desirable.
This diverse and dynamic role demands a highly self-motivated individual who thrives under pressure, meeting deadlines effectively both independently and collaboratively. Exceptional communication and organisational skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, are essential attributes.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential for this role. Interviews for this role will be conducted in person at our Wrexham campus.
