Senior Night Care Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Night Care Worker to join our team at Glynbargoed House. This role is vital in ensuring the highest standard of care and support is provided to our residents throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the night care team, ensuring all duties are carried out to a high standard.
  • Provide personal care and support to residents in line with their individual care plans.
  • Administer and record medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Monitor residents\' wellbeing and respond to any emergencies during the night.
  • Complete accurate documentation and handovers.
  • Ensure health, safety, and safeguarding standards are consistently met.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care setting is essential.
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential Or working towards Level 3
  • Experience in supervising or leading a team.
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering person-centered care.
