We’re currently looking for a talented professional to join our team as a Client Manager in Norwich. Hybrid working options are available and the chance to attend client sites. You’ll actively demonstrate GLX values, working proactively on a diverse workload and identifying opportunities to add value. You’ll also enjoy on‑site parking and access to wellbeing services, such as doctors, counsellors and nutritionists.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage your own portfolio of clients, including individuals, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
  • Meet regularly with clients, becoming their first point of contact for advice and queries.
  • Plan and delegate work across the team, ensuring deadlines are met and workloads are balanced.
  • Review and supervise colleagues’ work across bookkeeping, accounts, tax, VAT, and management reporting.
  • Identify risks and opportunities within your client base and proactively respond to legislative changes.
  • Support, mentor, and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of growth and consistency.
  • Contribute to business development, promoting GLX services and building strong client relationships.
What You’ll Need
  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Solid experience within accountancy practice.
  • Experience supporting colleagues and reviewing technical work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships with a diverse client base.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
