About GF Yourself!

GF Yourself! exists to shake up the gluten-free market. We believe gluten-free food should be exciting, delicious, affordable and easy to discover. We launched in November 2025 with our gluten-free subscription box, and the response has exceeded expectations. We now have a growing customer base, a loyal community and proven demand. Next comes the exciting part: launching our own-brand range, expanding into retail, growing D2C, developing B2B partnerships and building one of the UK's most recognisable challenger food brands.

The Opportunity

This isn't a typical operations role. You'll be joining GF Yourself! at an exciting point in our journey: the business has proven demand, a growing customer base and ambitious plans to expand beyond subscription boxes into own-brand products, retail and new channels. We’re looking for someone who wants to take real ownership of how the business operates. You'll be responsible for building the processes, systems and supplier relationships that allow GF Yourself! to scale while maintaining the quality and customer experience that has made the brand successful so far.

You’ll work closely with the CEO, Ideas Lab team and our partners, playing a key role in turning an early-stage startup into a well-run, scalable consumer brand. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building, improving and taking ownership - someone who wants their work to have a visible impact on the growth of a business.

What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day operation, ensuring the business delivers an outstanding customer experience while scaling efficiently.
  • Manage our fulfilment operation, continuously improving quality, accuracy, speed and cost as order volumes grow.
  • Own supplier relationships, procurement and commercial negotiations, building long-term partnerships and securing the best combination of quality, reliability and value.
  • Lead operational reporting, tracking costs, margins, unit economics and key performance metrics, and providing clear insights to the CEO and wider team.
  • Build scalable systems, processes and documentation so the business can grow efficiently across subscriptions, own-brand products and retail.
  • Support the launch of new own-brand products and retail channels, ensuring the operational foundations are in place for successful growth.
  • Line manage our Venture Associate, helping prioritise work, develop their skills and maintain consistently high operational standards.
  • Work closely with the CEO, Ideas Lab team and external partners to identify opportunities, solve problems and continually improve how the business operates.
  • Help shape how our operations evolve as we scale into one of the UK's leading challenger food brands.

Who We're Looking For

You'll probably have experience in operations, supply chain, fulfilment, procurement or another commercially focused operational role within a consumer, FMCG, food, retail or e-commerce business. You enjoy making things work better. Whether that's improving a process, negotiating with suppliers, reducing costs or solving operational problems, you're always looking for the next improvement. You're organised, commercially minded and comfortable analysing data and financial performance as well as managing day-to-day operations. You enjoy taking ownership, balancing attention to detail with the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same. Most importantly, you're excited by the opportunity to help build a business from an early stage and have a genuine impact on how it grows.

What We Offer

  • Salary of £40,000-£55,000, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working between home and our London WeWork office (minimum two days per week).
  • Direct exposure to experienced founders, entrepreneurs and investors through the Ideas Lab team.
  • A genuine opportunity to play a key role in building one of the UK's next challenger food brands.

How to Apply

Please submit:

  • An up-to-date CV.
  • A tailored covering letter inserted as page 1 of your CV explaining why this opportunity excites you and highlighting your most relevant experience.

Due to the high volume of automated LinkedIn applications, applications that do not include a tailored covering letter as page 1 of the CV will not be considered.
