Ready to lead a high performing administrative customs team? We are looking for an experienced Supervisor (customs knowledge of experience isn’t required) to join a growing customs operation. This is more than just a supervisory role but an opportunity to shape processes, develop people and ensure the smooth movement of goods across international borders. As the Supervisor for the imports team, you will support the import customs department with operational efficiencies and deliver an outstanding service to their customers and European branches.

Day to day:

  • Lead and motivate a team of declarants (administrators) in a busy operational environment.
  • Support the Import Customs Manager and manage the department in their absence.
  • Allocate workloads to ensure declarations are completed accurately and within service deadlines.
  • Monitor team performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coach, mentor, and support team development.
  • Ensure full compliance with HMRC, Border Force, DEFRA, AEO, and internal procedures.
  • Work closely with customers.
