Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am to 1.30pm - Overtime available but not guaranteed!
About the Role
We are currently seeking to recruit a reliable and experienced Forklift / Warehouse Operator to join our team on a temporary basis. You will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, and distributed safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and is available for immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving deliveries and checking items against paperwork.
- Accurately record stock movements and update inventory systems.
- Prepare and stage goods for dispatch.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment.
- Carry out general warehouse duties as required to support the team.
- Valid forklift licence, operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move, load, and unload goods.
Requirements
- Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Basic IT/computer skills for stock entry
- Ability to lift and move goods safely
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage workload effectively.
- Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts if required.
