Handyman in Uxbridge

Job Title: Handyman / Blind Fitter
Location: Uxbridge (covering up to a 40-mile radius)
Salary: £35,000 £39,000 + Overtime (Paid at Time and a Half)
Hours: 06:00 15:00 (flexible depending on location)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Youll be responsible for installing blinds, curtains, and cubicle tracks in a variety of settings, ensuring each project is completed to a high standard, on time, and with care.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Collect blinds, tools, fixings, and documentation each morning
• Carry out installations independently or as part of a small team
• Communicate progress clearly to clients and the Project Manager
• Resolve on-site issues with a practical, solutions-first mindset
• Adhere to all health & safety regulations and site protocols
• Keep work areas clean and leave a professional finish
• Maintain company tools, van, and equipment with care

What Were Looking For:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Excellent practical skills and confident with tools and fixings
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
• Friendly and professional attitudecomfortable dealing with clients
• Self-motivated, punctual, and reliable
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing job sites and requirements
• Good written and verbal communication

Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK
• Valid CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
