The Opportunity: My client is an exceptional family-run business operating within the Agriculture and Food Manufacturing sector. They are seeking to recruit an outstanding individual who will play a key role within the production process of a premium, high-quality product. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be trusted with real responsibility and, following training, will take ownership of managing the production process from start to finish with supervision. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality standards, and wants to build a long-term career within a growing and supportive business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and managing the production process
- Supporting production activities across the site
- Maintaining high hygiene safety standards
- Carrying out basic quality checks and documentation
- Conducting basic machinery maintenance and housekeeping
- Working collaboratively with the wider production team
- Ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience within manufacturing would be advantageous, but is not essential
- Forklift or shunting experience would be beneficial, although full in-house training can be provided
- Understanding of quality systems and production processes
- Experience completing basic testing and production documentation
- Awareness of hygiene standards
- Basic mechanical or machinery maintenance awareness
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and reliable approach to work
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working independently following training
- Experience of working nights, ten-to-twelve-hour shifts
