- Keeping the yards and sheds tidy, doorways swept and any spillages to be kept to a minimum.
- Tipping vehicles into sheds or intake pits and loading lorries with the JCB telehandler. No licence required.
- Previous experience of driving loading shovels advantageous however not essential as full training given.
- There would also be a requirement to drive yard shunters (HGVs) but no licence required as off public road.
- Setting out aeration ducts in the stores and removing as the shed is emptied making sure to not damage the ducts.
- Assisting the lab with taking grain samples from the stores and checking grain temperatures.
- Basic lab testing (moisture, specific weight, screenings etc) - full training will be provided.
- Basic vehicle maintenance on yard vehicles.
- Assisting cleaning in and around the processing plants if required.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
