Our Client is a leader in the design, development, building, and refurbishment of shot blasting, air blasting, and shot peening equipment. We are currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join their busy workshop in Sheffield. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welding & Fabrication: MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to high standards.
- Fabrication Equipment: Operate bandsaws, press brakes, guillotines, grinders, rollers, pillar drills, hand drills.
- Site Work: Occasional site work (full driving license required).
- Cranes & FLTs: Operating overhead cranes and FLTs.
- Engineering Drawings: Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
Requirements:
- Experience: Experienced welder in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Machine Operation: Use multiple fabrication machines – Bandsaw, Press Brake, Grinder, Guillotine, Rollers, Pillar Drill.
- Driving: A full UK driving license is essential.
- Cranes & FLTs: Operate overhead cranes and FLTs is advantageous.
- Interpretation: Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
