The predicted salary is between 1040 - 1248 £ per month.

Salary: £13.50 Per Hour – 40 hours paid at normal rate and 5 hours paid at time and a third (discussed at interview stage)

Location: Sheffield

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • Friday: 7:00 am – 12:30 pm
  • Occasional weekend work as needed and opportunities for overtime as and when required

Our Client is a leader in the design, development, building, and refurbishment of shot blasting, air blasting, and shot peening equipment. We are currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join their busy workshop in Sheffield. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding & Fabrication: MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to high standards.
  • Fabrication Equipment: Operate bandsaws, press brakes, guillotines, grinders, rollers, pillar drills, hand drills.
  • Site Work: Occasional site work (full driving license required).
  • Cranes & FLTs: Operating overhead cranes and FLTs.
  • Engineering Drawings: Interpret and work from engineering drawings.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experienced welder in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
  • Machine Operation: Use multiple fabrication machines – Bandsaw, Press Brake, Grinder, Guillotine, Rollers, Pillar Drill.
  • Driving: A full UK driving license is essential.
  • Cranes & FLTs: Operate overhead cranes and FLTs is advantageous.
  • Interpretation: Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
