The Sales Representative will focus on lead generation, developing new business across South Yorkshire, managing inbound opportunities, maintaining CRM accuracy, and supporting the implementation of sales strategies. The role combines field-based prospecting, networking, telesales, and administrative sales support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Sales Activity
- Hunt out new business opportunities within the South Yorkshire area.
- Lead generation across outbound channels including door-knocking, telesales, LinkedIn, and networking events.
- Contact and quote all new inbound leads.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans.
- Schedule and coordinate sales activities including meetings, calls and presentations.
- Prepare and distribute sales materials and proposals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all new business and upsell opportunities.
- Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and timely data.
- Track customer interactions, follow-ups and sales opportunities.
- Identify trends through CRM activity and reporting.
- Prepare and edit sales-related correspondence, presentations and reports.
- Assist with the preparation of sales contracts, proposals and agreements.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete and properly filed.
- Provide administrative support for sales campaigns and promotional activities.
- Assist in gathering and reporting sales data.
- Prepare sales performance reports and presentations.
- Monitor and track progress against sales targets and sales KPIs.
- Report discrepancies or issues to the Managing Director.
- Meet monthly sales targets.
- Generate opportunities and convert leads within target parameters.
- Seek ways to improve sales processes and increase efficiency.
- Stay updated on sales best practices and new tools.
