The role:
- Provide excellent customer service in line with our departmental standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Coordinate Preventative maintenance and breakdown visits utilising our planning software.
- Sourcing and requesting appropriate resource for the job, engineers, plant etc.
- Placing orders to suppliers and chasing when applicable.
- Organising despatch of parts for delivery or collection.
- Maintain customers’ records.
- Deal with customer queries professionally and efficiently.
- Assisting with the contract renewal process.
- Taking ownership of jobs and seeing through to completion.
- Updating our software systems.
- Track and manage costs on jobs.
- Any other duties as reasonably required.
The successful candidate:
- Experience in a customer service role.
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with challenges in a professional and calm manner.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrate ability to communicate with people face to face, on the telephone, and via written communication.
- Ability to take ownership for all customer service-related enquiries received and see through to full resolution.
- Confidence to use initiative and make sound commercial decisions.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritise.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
