An exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a growing international group, supporting multiple trading entities across the UK and overseas. This role plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely management information and ensuring strong financial control across the business.
The Role
- Ownership of month-end close processes
- Preparation of monthly group management accounts
- Production of departmental profit and loss accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- Cost, stock and duty/freight analysis
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers
- Support with budgeting and year-end audit processes
- Intercompany accounting and cross-charges
- End-to-end accounts payable processes, including payment runs and reconciliations
- Management of aged creditor reporting and expense claims (SAP Concur)
- Cashflow forecasting across multiple currencies
- Foreign exchange contract maintenance and bank reconciliations
Stakeholder Engagement
- Working closely with senior stakeholders and department heads
- Liaising with suppliers, customers and external partners
