Glu Recruit are recruiting for an experienced Digital Press Operator to join an established printing business in Sheffield.
The successful candidate will operate digital printing presses, ensuring high-quality production, minimal waste and efficient machine performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate digital presses to meet production specifications and deadlines.
- Maintain high standards of print quality and accuracy.
- Monitor press performance, minimise downtime and reduce waste.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and upkeep.
- Record and report reprints and production issues.
- Support the wider digital print team with daily operations.
- Follow health and safety procedures and continuous improvement practices.
The Successful Candidate:
- Knowledge of HP Indigo Series 4 and Ricoh 9210/9500 presses.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Physically capable of working in a busy production environment.
- Flexible approach to working additional hours when required.
