We are currently supporting a highly successful and rapidly growing business in Barnsley, who are looking to add a Payroll Manager to their finance department on a permanent basis. This is a standalone position where you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, as well as various reporting, pension administration and query resolution. You will have full autonomy in your role to ensure smooth payroll processing, and be supported to implement various processes to improve efficiency. Responsibilities: End to end payroll processing for approximately 1800 employees Fortnightly & monthly payroll for employees based across multiple sites Compile payroll data and produce payroll reports HMRC reporting & Year end duties Submission of pension contributions Administration of the time and attendance system Monitoring and maintaining Payroll email inbox and query resolution Annual submission of the companyโ€™s Gender Pay Report Other tasks as required as befits the role and development Person Specification: At least 2 years payroll experience Sage 50 payroll experience is advantageous High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work on own initiative and within deadlines in payroll calendar #J-18808-Ljbffr
