Job Summary:
Glu Recruit are seeking an experienced, career-long paraplanner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pensions and retirement planning, with a focus on helping individuals achieve a comfortable lifestyle in retirement.
Main responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough financial research and analysis using tools such as Selectapension and FE Analytics
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports using Genovo report writing software
- Review and verify information provided by admin staff for accuracy and completeness
- Liaise with admin team to gather missing information and assist with business submissions when necessary
- Utilize Intelliflo back office system for client management and record-keeping
- Analyse and provide recommendations for various investment vehicles, including ISAs and general investment accounts
- Challenge advisers on file notes or recommendation proposals that appear unsuitable
- Communicate with the compliance team regarding any concerns about advice suitability
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record as a paraplanner in the financial services industry, with a focus on pensions and retirement planning
- Extensive knowledge of UK pension regulations and products
