The Role
Glu Recruit are recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join an established signage manufacturing business in Bradford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling high-quality signage components using aluminium, acrylic and other specialist materials.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manufacturing and assembling built-up letters and signage components.
- Operating letter-bending machines and fabrication equipment.
- Measuring, cutting and preparing materials to technical specifications.
- Working with aluminium, acrylic and specialist bonding materials.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure high standards.
- Meeting production targets and maintaining a safe working environment.
The Successful Candidate
- Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication, signage manufacturing or a similar role.
- Experience operating letter-bending or fabrication machinery.
- Knowledge of aluminium, acrylic and bonding techniques.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work accurately.
- Competent using workshop tools and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with illuminated signage or LED components would be advantageous.
