Business Director

Founded in 2020, GLTCH Group is a London based leading gaming and esports agency, providing brands with access to gaming audiences at scale globally. As an end-to-end agency, our key services include: Ideation, planning and buying, strategy and insight, production and delivery and reporting.

We are focused on creating and delivering authentic “media first” executions, as well as long term media strategies for the world’s biggest brands. No idea is too big, no platform out of reach, we champion creativity while remaining diligent about client KPIs. The Business Director role is an integral role for developing the agency and would suit someone who wants to be inherently involved in taking an agency to the next level. Working alongside the founder, the Business Director needs to be committed to building the agency’s reputation and securing commercial opportunities from brands and media partners, while strengthening internal agency structures and environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth, revenue generation, and market expansion.
  • Developing internal agency processes to ensure the most effective workflow.
  • Formulating creative responses to briefs alongside the wider team to create unforgettable activations.
  • Developing long term strategies for retained clients.
  • Manage and nurture client relationships to build trust and increase retained business.
  • Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market insights to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5 years minimum experience working in a client facing role within a gaming agency.
  • Strong understanding of media planning, all media environments, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Track record of successfully managing and growing client relationships in the gaming industry.
  • The ability to identify and execute key growth opportunities for the agency.
  • Proven ability to listen to client objectives and translate those into ideas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Confident taking on a role in the leadership team and comfortable working alongside C suite executives.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Passion and deep understanding of the gaming industry.
