Location: North West England and North Wales
The role
You’ll be installing air source heat pumps, cylinders, radiators and associated pipework, including conversions from existing gas and oil heating systems.
You’ll work from system designs and manufacturer instructions, check the installation requirements on site and raise any issues before work starts.
Your responsibilities will include flushing, pressure testing, balancing and commissioning systems within your qualifications. You’ll also complete the installation records and handover, making sure the customer is comfortable with their new heating and controls.
You’ll work alongside our electricians and other engineers to keep jobs organised, leave properties tidy and deliver work we’re proud to put our name to.
What we’re looking for
Experience installing heat pumps and domestic heating systems, supported by relevant plumbing and heating qualifications.
You should understand low temperature heating, system layouts and controls, and be confident working from technical drawings.
Heat pump training, an unvented hot water qualification and experience working to MCS requirements would be an advantage.
You’ll need to be reliable, communicate well with customers and the team, and be comfortable taking responsibility for your work. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across North West England and North Wales are required.
Pay
Pay and working arrangements will be discussed based on your experience and qualifications.
