ABOUT THE ROLE
You own how Glow delivers product change: how work is defined and tracked in Jira and Confluence, how delivery is reported, and the review cadence that makes sure what we commit to lands. One consistent way of working across product and technology, in every region.
This is a hands-on role for someone who builds structure where it is needed rather than for its own sake. Our teams are distributed across time zones, so clear documentation and asynchronous habits matter. You will work within a regulated financial services environment, where change control and auditability are non-negotiable.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own how Glow uses Jira and Confluence. Common structure and reporting across every team and region, with room for teams to work the way that suits them.
- Own the delivery framework and lead the largest cross-team initiatives. How work moves from idea to release, with the audit trail clients and regulators expect.
- Build delivery reporting that drives decisions on progress, capacity and risk.
- Run delivery governance. Hold teams to their commitments and make sure decisions are made and followed through.
- Own the capacity plan behind the roadmap. Demand against capacity across all teams and regions.
- Improve how we work. Planning cadence, team ceremonies and templates, refined through retrospectives, so every initiative starts the right way.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Significant experience, typically 7+ years, in product operations, delivery management or technical programme roles in a software business, close enough to engineering to know where the work sits and what it takes.
- You have done this before. You have designed and rolled out Jira and Confluence, including the reporting on top, for a product and engineering organisation of five or more teams.
- You bring people with you. Product and engineering teams adopt your standards because they make work easier, not because you police them.
- Clear, plain communication up to executive level, and comfortable running the room.
- Fintech or regulated lending background is an advantage.
- AI fluency. We encourage the use of AI throughout your work, and you own the outcome.
