We are looking for an experienced and motivated E‑Rostering & Workforce Analyst to join our evolving HR & OD team at Gloucestershire Managed Services (GMS). This is a key role supporting the effective deployment of approximately 800 colleagues across a multi‑site NHS‑supported environment. This is more than a systems role; you will play a vital part in shaping how workforce decisions are made, improving efficiency, and supporting the delivery of safe, high‑quality services. Working in partnership with the NHS Trust under a Service Level Agreement (SLA), you will gain valuable exposure to wider system working while developing expertise in workforce systems, analytics and planning.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer e‑rostering and workforce systems, ensuring accurate and compliant staff data.
- Support managers with workforce planning, establishment reviews and roster optimisation.
- Produce and analyse workforce reports (e.g., absence, overtime, agency usage and staffing levels).
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll data submission, working closely with Trust payroll teams.
- Support and maintain time and attendance systems (Loop/timeclocks).
- Deliver training and guidance to managers and staff on system use and best practice.
- Act as the key link with NHS Trust system and payroll teams under SLA arrangements.
- Identify opportunities to improve workforce efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
