We welcome applications from both experienced Registered Nurses or newly qualified nurses and can also consider applications from individuals who would only be available to work night shifts. If you are newly qualified, we are able to offer a supportive learning environment where you will be assigned a mentor who can help guide you through the first months of your nursing career. You will also be enrolled in our preceptorship programme which is the first step in developing your professional development.
For the more experienced nurse, we will support you in your clinical and managerial development to become a more autonomous practitioner, by providing access to academic programs. As a predominantly nurse led ward this means you will have greater autonomy and ultimately gain more job satisfaction by giving the best patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on each site, these will include:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a community hospital setting.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Manage complex care situations, chronic disease, admission avoidance, and end-of-life care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training.
