We have opportunities for highly motivated individuals to join our Nursing Teams within our Community Hospitals. We are looking for nurses with passion and commitment who hold patient experience and care at the heart of their nursing practice and who share our organisational values. In return we will offer you day to day support along with excellent training and a real commitment to your personal development plan with opportunities for continued professional development and study.

As part of the application process you will be asked to state if you have a preference of site; but there is an expectation that you will be able to provide cover to colleagues at other sites if needed. We welcome applications from both experienced Registered Nurses or newly qualified nurses and can also consider applications from individuals who would only be available to work night shifts. There are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and further your career here at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.
If you are newly qualified, we are able to offer a supportive learning environment where you will be assigned a mentor who can help guide you through the first months of your nursing career. You will also be enrolled in our preceptorship programme which is the first step in developing your professional development. For the more experienced nurse, we will support you in your clinical and managerial development to become a more autonomous practitioner, by providing access to academic programs.
