Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling delegated Adult Social Care statutory duties on behalf of the Local Authority
  • Completing timely assessments under the Care Act 2014 and Section 117 of the Mental Health Act
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams across Gloucestershire and beyond
  • Practising in line with Care Act principles, focusing on prevention, reduction, and delay
  • Supporting individuals under s117 with a focus on independence, recovery, and social inclusion
  • Promoting and enabling access to universal services to meet care and support needs
