Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks a highly experienced, confident, and forward-thinking corporate governance professional to join our senior leadership team as Director of Corporate Governance.

Main duties of the job

This is a high-profile position reporting directly to the Chief Executive. You will be the architect responsible for strengthening and shaping our entire corporate governance framework while playing a broader role too.

You will provide strategic leadership for our approach to communications and speaking up as well as overseeing crucial corporate compliance functions.

We have a skilled and dedicated workforce of over 5000 colleagues working in a diverse range of services over 55 sites and within people\'s homes. This high-level overview shows we are in a healthy position, with higher scores than average for comparable organisations, alongside a great response rate, indicating good staff engagement. However, we also know we have plenty of room for improvement in many areas.
